Not Quite Near Mint Heroes

The Ten-Eyed Man

Philip Reardon was injured while serving with the Special Forces in vietnam when he was hit between the eyes by shrapnel. When he returned to Gotham City and civilian life he got work as a local warehouse guard. One night the warehouse was robbed and the theives planted a bomb to blow open the safe. Reardon was knocked unconcious and when he was revived by Batman he mistook him for a theif due to his blurry vision and attacked him. Reardon finally recognized Batman just as the bomb exploded robbing him of his remaining vision. Dr.Engstrom then treated Reardon by attaching his optic nerves to his fingertips. (Wow! What a doctor! He's a freaking psycho!) Reardon could now see through optic nerves connected to his findertips and due to this became a great marksman and hand to hand combatant. Reardon blamed the Batman for his injury and attacked him on several occasions. He was later killed (Thank God!) during The Crisis on Inifinte Earths. (What a loser!)

Let me know if you think this should be a regular feature here at Near Mint Heroes.
